In EBS 12.2.9 with 19c multi-tenant database, Should I perform EBS clone with CDB database?

There seems to be two ways to perform EBS clone. One of the method is to perform the clone like EBS 12.1 which backup and restore the app tier and database tier. Second method is to perform the app tier clone like 12.1 with the dualfs parameter to clone the fs1 and fs2 and database with restore of CDB and PDB, the PDB will need to detach and reseed. Is there a pro and con for these two method? Please advise,
