default date in Financial report submission

Hi and thanks!

EBS R12.1.3

In GL I am running various report from Report Manager > Financial Report Submission

When I enter a period the date field populates with the first date of the period entered.

But for some periods in the past the date is incorrect

IE our periods are :

Period Name Start Date

PD01-2021-22 02-MAY-21

PD02-2021-22 30-MAY-21

PD03-2021-22 27-JUN-21

Running for period three and the date defaults as 27-Jun-2021

Running the same report for period one defaults date of 29-May-2021


What is the logic here please?
