Is there any good reason not to run Oracle Database on OpenZFS?

We're in the process of migrating from an old Oracle 9i database currently running on Solaris with ZFS. We are upgrading to 12.2.0.1 then 19c LTS by the end of the year.

I would like to continue to leverage ZFS if possible. We do periodic cold backups of the database and using ZFS snapshots helps keep downtime to a minimum.

The new staging host we are currently running 12c on is running Oracle Linux 7.

thanks
