Hiding Activity Guide Pages - Via Peoplecode

Hi Team -

Has anyone tried hiding activity guide steps via PeopleCode? Tried hiding this via Page and field configurator but it has limited logic capabilities. It cant handle complex validations.

Appreciate all inputs.
