Location Flexfield

Hi,

We are on 12.1.3. We already have few Ledgers/OU setups in Production. All these ledgers have Fixed Assets enabled. Location Flexfield in FA for all these OU's has only 2 Segments.

We are now in the process of setting up a new Ledger/OU. Fixed Assets module will be enabled. The Corporate team now realizes 2 Location Segment is not sufficient. They want to expand the Location Segment.

Is this advisable to now expand the location flexfield? What impact will it have on existing ledgers?
