Unifier: Workflow error check says WF step has incorrect status, why ?

I made a simple workflow (attached) for use with integration to an new ERP system. It goes from [Create]>[validate]>[Approved]>[End]. Error check says the [Approved] step has incorrect status and I don't understand why.

Status by Step:

[validate] = Pending

[Approved] = Approved

[End] = Approved

There's a [Revision] step from the [Approved] step which has a status of 'Revision_Required' and back to 'Approved' when it returns to the [Approved] step.
