Inter Branch field update SO01 for interbranch plant Sales Order

Hello Team -

We just notice that when Sales Order Header and Sales Order Details will have different branch plant then Inter Branch Code (SO01) get updated with 2 after Inter Branch transection Activation even though it belongs to same company.

However we need this field to be populated only when companies are getting changed NOT BU's.

Can we achieve this ?
