Is it possible to retain the same asset number when you create a new FA book?

  • we are creating a new FA book and migrating the data from the old FA book with few changes in life, depreciation type etc.,
  • Is it possible to have the same Asset numbers from old FA took to the New FA book?
  • Is it possible to an asset with multiple assignments - based on branches?
