ORA-16724 on Primary instance after opening the related DR in Snapshot mode

Hello All!


We have following DataGuard configuration:

---

Configuration - pcdb

 Protection Mode: MaxAvailability

 Members:

 prpcdb - Primary database

  stpcdb - (*) Physical standby database

  drpcdb - Physical standby database

Fast-Start Failover: ENABLED

Configuration Status:

SUCCESS  (status updated 42 seconds ago)

Fast-Start Failover is configured for prpcdb / stpcdb

drpcdb is used for testing changes only. It is opened in a snapshot mode on a regular basis.

For example:

DGMGRL> convert database drpcdb to snapshot standby;

--perform testing

DGMGRL> connect sys

DGMGRL> CONVERT DATABASE drpcdb to PHYSICAL STANDBY;


Everytime we open drpcdb a snapshot mode we get ORA-16724 error on Primary database prpcdb.
