Preferred First Name Displaying On Updateable State Tax Withholding PDF

We set up Preferred First Name so employees can enter it in self-service. We're noticing that a vast majority of our state tax withholding pdf forms are now showing Preferred First Name. The federal tax form only displays the legal name and we would like the state forms to only show the legal name.

Has anyone else been in this situation? If so, what did you do to correct it?
