Recruiting - Has Anyone Tried A Pre-Onboarding Acty Guide for Applicant

We have outsourced the requisition and the recruiting to several good systems, and like how they produce candidates, but the Onboarding team wants within PeopleSoft, to collect the various data elements and compare them to the background check and education document as well as validate all medical records and license/certificates before they actually get hired in Manage Hires.

I love the flexibility of the Employee Onboarding Activity Guide for having the new hire validate their personal and job data, fill out the disability form for accommodations, etc., but it only works once you are an employee. We would like to apply this same feature to the applicant as they go through final review before they start, so my question for the community is this, have you and your organization configured or built anything like this? I am also going to add this as a Idea in about a week depending on the feedback of this
