Need Custom object non-editable once the outstanding flag is No.

in CRM On Demand - Administration (MOSC) Question

We have created one Opportunity Child custom object where the records are created in opportunity and it auto saved on Payment (Custom Object). After that, another user verifies the transactions on payment(Custom object).

Now the requirement is once the Transaction is verified the no one can change the records on both custom object as well as Opportunity Custom object also.

I tried with layouts but that is not achievable.Its quite Urgent.
