With OVR, what is the My Folders\runtime used for?

With OVR, I've noticed that in BI Publisher there is a folder "My Folders\runtime" that has thousands of uniquely named sub folders for the OVR proxy user. It appears that a new sub folder is created in "runtime" every time an E1 user establishes a connection to BI Publisher from E1. So I'm guessing it's some sort of temp folder, but they are accumulating quickly.

Has anyone else noticed this? What are you doing to manage the "runtime" folder?

I've attached screenshots of what I'm seeing.
