renaming CDB

I need to rename a CDB with a single user-defined PDB. Does the process differ from the process for renaming a non-CDB? I have used the process documented in "How to Change the DBID, DBNAME Using NID Utility (Doc ID 863800.1)". I just need confirmation that this process will work for a CDB. That I don't need to make any changes at the PDB level.
