How to resolve names locally without DNS

Hi,


We have all default configurations in Oracle Linux 7 and we are using DNS for names resolution. in the last week, our DNS service was crashed due to some reasons and during that situation, our all EBS (12.1.3) and other databases and applications are not communicated with each other.


Kindly share some action plans to overcome this situation and how we can resolve the names locally using the hosts files.
