Detailed steps on configuring Hardware Clustering

Looking for a detailed documentation on the steps to be followed to enable High Availability using Microsoft Failover Cluster Manager. following steps were performed but it doesn't work.

Version: Siebel IP21.2

Try1:

  • Siebel Server profile deployed via SMC in the cluster Node 1 and it was up and running
  • stopped the services, failed over the node to server 2, ran the cluster_srvr.bat file and the windows service got created
  • failed over the service to node 1, brought up the services fully
  • when trying to do a failover of the node from server 1 to server 2, siebel services are showing Running but the server manager says handshake failed
