What are the steps to enroll the employees in 457 Plan during the middle of the year?

We have decided to enroll our employees for the 457 plan this year effective from October 2021. Please let us know the steps involved in enrolling the employees for this plan. Are there any applications available for employees for requesting enrollment into this plan using Employee Self Service?
