How can we 'store' OSP assemblies prior to shipping to/after receipt from OSP Supplier?

HI All -

We use Outside Processing Work Orders/Purchase Orders in our manufacturing process. The business has new requirement to 'store' the OSP Assemblies prior to shipping to the Supplier and to 'store' them again in after receiving them back from the Supplier. The OSP Assemblies will be stored in a warehouse subinventory with locators defined.

We are on EBS 12.2.9. Does Oracle have functionality where we can record the subinventory/locator where these OSP assemblies are stored while they are systematically still in the Work Order process?
