Can we insert two records into Payroll salary tables effective Same date?
Hi Experts
My Simple requirement is to have both increment and Promotion effective same Date.
For Ex: today is July 19th and Effective Aug 1st have an increment from a basic of $1000 to $1200.
Effective Aug 1st itself ,have a Promotion from $1200 to $2200.
is this possible ?
PS : When i tried to do the same got an error "ORA-20001: This date already exists. Please enter a new date".
Please help ASAP.
