Anyone running JDE World A9.2.1 on IBM OS 7.3 ?

We are looking to upgrade the IBM OS but do not want to undergo a full upgrade to JDE A9.3 or 9.4 at this time due to customizations. I know this combination is not certified on either end but wondering if anyone has tried anyway, and if it was a success or confirmed fail?
