Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. DropShip functionality/feature for non-inventory/non-shippable items e.g. software license

Is DropShip functionality/feature designed for non-inventory/non-shippable items e.g. software license or service?

1. Created an item with attributes as non- shippable, non-asset, non-inventory etc.

2. Created a sales order for this item with source type = External - booked the sales order

3. After Workflow Background process runs, the Purchase Release - Line, Deferred activity is complete - without any error.

But there is no record in the Requisition Interface table - nothing for Requisition Import to process and create requisition for.

Wanted to confirm if drop ship requisition/PO can be created for such a scenario?
