Announcing Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU35

We've just released the Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU35, the July 2021 CPU. It is available via 'pkg update' from the support repository or by downloading the SRU from My Oracle Support Doc ID 2433412.1.

Some noteworthy improvements include:

  • HMP has been updated to 2.4.8.0, and includes many bug fixes
  • Driver force detach is used for SPARC PCIe storage (HBA) devices. This allows SR-IOV device paths to be consistent between the LDoms Root Domain and I/O domain(s) in SR-IOV configurations even after device hotplug operations. Driver force detach also improves the success rate of PCIe storage (HBA) driver detach.
