Changes to Order Detail Group fields are not recalculating SO Price

I have a number of Adjustments that are based on Order Detail Group fields (Carrier and Freight Handling Code). When I change the Carrier on a existing SO Line, and I am expecting a new pricing rule should be applied, there is no change to price on the line. When I change the qty on that same line, the correct Carrier pricing rule is then applied. (Carrier rule is not conditional on qty)

Are changes to the order detail group fields supposed to trigger a recalculation of SO Price?

Note: Same issue if I change Carrier on Shipment , it changes the Carrier on SO line but it does not recalculate the Price. I go into the order and change the qty and the Carrier rule is applied and the price is calculated correctly
