Testing 2021 W-2s on TEST instance ... can we view the self-service W-2 in 2021?

My payroll team is conducting some testing and ran the year-end processes and want to view W-2s in Self Service. I tried changing the date for profile "HR:Allow online W-2 viewing as of (MM/DD)" to the day following the completion of the year-end processes for 2021 and the 2021 W-2s are not showing in Self Service (and the instance was bounced/restarted as well).

The profile value is MM/DD so no way to specify the year.

Is it possible to view 2021 W-2s in year 2021?
