GG Foundation Suite & Veridata 12.2.1 - latest supported OL and Weblogic versions?

We intend on reinstalling this software soon. The original installation was on OL6 and Weblogic 12.2.1. The compatibility matrix is confusing when it comes to this software. What are the recommended versions of Linux and Weblogic that should be used for a fresh installation? Can we use OL7.9?
