is it possible to auto-populate an AVG value of 3 collection elements into a collection plan?

in Process Manufacturing - EBS (MOSC) Question

I've been trying to configure a collection plan to take L.a.b. color measurement data (decimal values) and compute an average of 3 readings, then have that average value populated into a 4th field within the collection plan. So far without success; which confirms I'm making at least one error.

I attached screen shots of the configs I've made on my last attempt.

If anyone has some insight and time to share it, that would be much appreciated!
