Non Material related Drop Ship

Gurus,

Is there a way for doing non material based drop ship. for e.g software installation service provided by supplier ?

So, the Sales Order has both shippable and non-shippable based items. If both are fulfilled by supplier, how to make drop ship - non-shippable items? Is it doable / valid scenario?
