Commissions on the basis of per unit sold

Hello All

Just checking if its possible to configure on the basis of per unit sold. For example we should be able to setup commissions as 1USD per unit sold. If the sales order is for 10 units then the commission payable is USD 10.

I know this can be done using advanced pricing - but the issue is how to track the commission payable to an address book number. For e.g. I could have multiple people eligible to get commission on a sales order. How do I link the commission payable to the various persons.
