Vertex upgrade from 4.3.4 to 4.4.0

We are looking to upgrade from Vertex 4.3.4 to 4.4.0. Do the interim updates for 4.3.6, 4.3.7, 4.3.8 and 4.3.9 need to be applied if none of those changes apply to our installation of JDE?
