How to configure a regular earning to calculate at "FLSA Rate" instead of "Hourly Rate"
Do you have any guidance on how to accommodate the change from the recent ruling in the California Supreme Court in Ferra v. Loews Hollywood case? Currently Peoplesoft calculates the PNT using the hourly rate, but we need it to use the FLSA Regular Rate. We have FLSA configuration in place for Overtime, and Double Time, but need a way to have Peoplesoft use the FLSA rate without a multiplication factor assigned on the earnings table.
In this example below the green highlight shows the current environment. The red boxes show the desired calculation by also considering the commission payment as wages.
