Is there a limit as to how many records show up under "Linked Records"?

We have users that use the linked records feature a lot (they are linking 150+ records) and they are claiming that the total count of linked records caps out at 170. The total stops summing and the records displayed under "Linked Records" maxes out as well. Is this normal? Not sure if it may be a bug or if this is functioning as intended. Thanks in advance!
