Oracle Restart RAM configuration

Hi,

I am trying to setup Oracle 19c with Oracle Restart on RedHat Linux 7 and I'm trying to work out the RAM requirements.

The Database Installation Guide for Oracle 19c on Linux says:

Minimum RAM

• At least 1 GB RAM for Oracle Database installations. 2 GB RAM recommended.

• At least 8 GB RAM for Oracle Grid Infrastructure installations

Does this mean I need to dedicate 8 GB of RAM, outside of what I allocate to SGA/PGA, just for Oracle Restart?

Regards
