Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Database Memory & 4030/4031 (MOSC)

streams_pool_size defaults to 32M in 12.1

I explicitly set streams_pool_size to 16MB, but when I startup the DB, it auto-defaults to 32MB.

I don't understand why this is so, and I could not find any document specifying that its an Oracle default value.

We are using ASSM on a 12.1.0.2.0 Oracle DB.

Has anyone encountered the same issue?
