SD Order with S line type does not relieve Inventory at Ship Confirm

Hi,

We have a SD order with D line type items which create the OD, but also with standard S line type items that should follow the normal process. When Ship Confirming the SD line type S lines, inventory is not being relieved. The processing option at Ship Confirm is set to relieve inventory. Is there some sort of hard code in SD orders to not relieve inventory at ship confirm? I assumed the hard coding was in line type D. The Inventory does get relieved at Sales Update, but our Users would like the relief
