Hi Team, We installed Siebel 21.5 on AWS cloud and oracle database also on cloud using hostname that

in Siebel System Admin, Install and Upgrade (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

Hi Team,

We installed Siebel 21.5 on AWS cloud and oracle database also on cloud using hostname that FQDN.


now Team is moving the hostname to different ip but same hostname for both siebel server and oracle database.



How to change the ipaddress on RedHat Linux. 

We have done changes to 

/etc/hosts

Modified the /etc/sysconfig/network file

rebooted redhad machine


but post above changes Siebel application is not coming getting in Siebel log "reading Gateway registery failed"


Any other changes is missing from siebel side?
