How to get newly added fields available for use in analytics

I am working with CRM OD/analytics. I needed an numeric field for a calculation I was performing. There were none available so I created one in the object I was using for the dashboard. When I went to the analytics dashboard editor, the new field is not showing in the list of values I can use for my dashboard. I've refreshed the list to see if it will pop in, but has not yet. I seem to remember having this issue a long time ago at another company, but I do not remember what the resolution was. I think we
