opatch in 10.1.2 oracle home forms and report - R12.2.5

in Install, Upgrade, Clone, Patch - EBS (MOSC) Question

Dear Experts,

Our EBS version R12.2.5

We are trying to apply patch to product Oracle Forms and Reports.

Oracle Home = /u03/test/fs1/EBSapps/10.1.2.

Product version = 10.1.2.3.0

We have downloaded the opatch version 10.1(Using OPatch 10.1 for Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.2, 10.1.3, 10.1.4) ( Doc ID 283367.1 ))

Below note is from same noteid.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT TO UPDATE OPATCH:

Updating OPatch to the latest release is a REQUIREMENT for all one-off patches, including the Critical Patch Updates. Without the latest release, the patching may fail due to new functionality introduced.

First, there is a patch required which upgrades the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI Patch 6640838). Apply this according to the readme and/or
