How to Send secure Notification Email From Agile Using SSL/TLS Over SMTP for Email Communication?

We are trying to build a custom PX in Agile 9.3.6 and at some part if time we want to send the User the Notification of the PX , earlier it was just SMTP that we have used but since it is not secure we want to use SMTPs using SSL/TLS encryption to make the connection more secure.
