Vacation Accrual Not Moving To Next Tier During The Payroll The Anniversary Date Falls
There is a vacation accrual that is based on Table Method OA. The DBA is setup with a limit method = 1 Payroll Month History. The rate control flag is set to 1 rate at end of pay period.
The employees Original Hire Date is 07/26/10.
The calculation table is setup to calculate as follows:
120.00-131.99 = 6.15 hours per pay period
132.00-143.99 = 6.45 per period.
The payroll processed pay period dates were 7/25/21-8/7/21, I would fully expect that the accrual should have happened during this payroll, but the employee does not move up to the next tier until the next pay period. Why?
According to the anatomy of a table method the system takes the pay period end date and subtracts the Original Hire Date = days/30 = months. According to my calculation the months during the payroll the Original Hire Date would fall = 132.4 months, it should have calculated.
