JDE 9.1 with Oracle database 12.1.0.2

Hi Experts,

We are using Oracle database standard edition version 12.1.0.2 which is under extended support now and is licensed through JDE.

I was trying to download a recent patch for the Oracle database and the Support person said, I need extended support to download the patch.

However, my question is do we really need extended support for a Database that inherits its license to use through JDE?

Our JD Edwards version details are given below,

Product Version - 9.1

Tools Version - 9.2.3.2 (32 bit)

Database version - 12.1.0.2 Standard Edition
