EBS - Can just EBS Oracle Inventory be used for barcode scanning?

Hi Oracle Inventory Team,

Can we use barcode scanners within “Oracle Inventory” ebs without MSCA or WMS?

We are on version 12.1.3 and are inquiring if with just Oracle Inventory can and how we can start using barcode scanners. If not, then what are we missing that would help us to get this functionality?
