Patch 32409154 on WINNT fails to install

in Database Administration (MOSC) 1 comment

I am not a DBA but for development set up a 19c DB from scratch along with a 32bit client.

=> Server Microsoft Windows x64 , Client Microsoft Windows x86 (WINNT)

Updated opatch for both server and client, then I applied patch 32409154 for both.

=> Server went smooth, but the client failed. The output is shown below.

I assume it is somehow related to 32/64 bit version of the patch, but I explicitly downloaded the 32bit (WINNT) version of patch 32409154. It worked for both server and client with the older patch 31247621, so it seems I am basically doing it right.

Thanks for any ideas on how to resolve this.
