Order Release vs Order Release w/Reports

We utilize the inventory module and when processing inventory order releases (process name IN_FUL_RLS,) We select the option to generate the Pick Plan (INS6000). We don't

need the pick plan report based on our business process. We assume the INS600 is only creating the pick plan/report and wanted to know if there would be any fall out or negative impact if we unchecked this option. Is the INS6000 somehow performing any background processing other than generating the pick plan report?
