how to best present 2 raw disks shared for RAC
On Solaris 11.4 on Sparc T8-1 servers with 2xExternal fiber attached arrays.
In our setup, we are in a 2 Node Oracle Solaris Cluster for Application failover (not oracle failover). We have 19C RAC EE (w/latest rac patch), and we are given 2 external LUNS. We use RAW devices for performance reasons. So Currently we use SVM multi-owner disksets, with SVM metadevices in a mirrored setup. It works well.
What could be possible be done better with the 2 raw luns? The oracle redundancy during GRID Installation, requires 3 or 5 Luns.
We do use multiple instances.
