DISABLING UNUSED INVENTORY ORGANIZAITON

Any way to test disabling inventory organization... we have an inventory organization which we don't use from a long time and want to disable it but before we disable it, the idea it to test and make sure it will not effect other procedures/modules... how can that be tested to verify it's not impacting any other thing or what is right approach to check and check list to be clear before disabling the inventory organization ?
