Personalization to the customer contact entry page
We are trying to identify if it is possible to personalize the customer contact entry page (create new contact) at the customer account level in Communications tab.
Our requirement is to make the email field mandatory (asterisk) ONLY if the contact role selected as Statement. We plan to send the statements to these contact's email addresses stored and want to make sure that when these contact records are created in Oracle, users are not able to complete the entry unless they enter the email address.
So far it looks like this type of personalization may not be possible out of the box, but perhaps we are not the first one to try to do something like this and there are some possible workarounds.
