private interconnect in RAC

Hi Experts,

Environment: 2 node rac with 12.1.0.2.0

1)We have 4 nic ports eth01,eth1,eth3,eth4 and 2 HBA ports in each server.We are planning to use eth0 and eth1 for public nic.Can we use eth3 and eth4 for private interface?Any suggestions please.

2)What exactly is shared storage.Rac needs shared storage.Is it something,the same lun/disk will be made available to both the servers by storage admin?Can you give some idea.
