asm diskgroup dont mount

in Storage Management (ASM ACFS DNFS ODM) (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

hi , a missing disks from an ASM-DISKGROUP. The local zone was booted wrongly, leaving me with 2 disk less then i had before. . Still ASM is telling me it misses some disks.

the error in alerASM.log


ERROR: diskgroup DATA_EXLI was not mounted

WARNING: Disk Group DATA_EXLI containing spfile for this instance is not mounted

ORA-15032: not all alterations performed

ORA-15040: diskgroup is incomplete

ORA-15042: ASM disk "38" is missing from group number "1"

ORA-15042: ASM disk "36" is missing from group number "1"


the disk creation was this in the alertasm.log

SQL> alter diskgroup DATA_EXLI ADD DISK '/dev/oracleasm/disks/SIRESBDATA038' name SIRESBDATA038 rebalance power 11
