pdf outputs - highlighting not working if ran from Edge or Chrome

in Technology Stack - EBS (MOSC)

Before we implemented JWS and used IE browser for accessing EBS Receivables - highlighting in the pdf outputs was available functionality (Tools/print etc)

Recently , we implemented JWS in order to use other browsers (Chrome, Edge) instead of IE and user cannot highlight in pdf outputs any more. Please help.
