How to enable MFA for Oracle Primavera P6 Cloud?

My organisation is trying to enable MFA for Primavera P6 Cloud but the online documentation states the following, " Multi-factor authentication is possible as long as your company is set up to use SAML/SSO authentication (which means the authentication is done by your company's identity provider) AND your SSO provider supports this. The multi-factor authentication is set up on the customer-side."

My organisation has enabled SSO for users with an Active Directory (AD) account but we are trying to enable MFA for external contractors who don't have a AD account and we intent to add a extra layer of security for the external contractors using MFA. If there a way we can enable MFA without having a AD/SSO for external contractors? If not, is there a alternate method do setup something similar?
